Compass Group PLC reported the purchase of 407 of its own shares, to be held in treasury, as part of a $500 million share buyback program, which is nearing its completion with this second stage of buybacks worth approximately £196.7 million. The shares bought will potentially fulfill obligations from employee share schemes. Following the transaction, the total number of voting rights in Compass stands at 1,698,457,865 Ordinary Shares.
