Compass Group PLC has disclosed purchasing 2,434 of its own ordinary shares at a price of £23.9400 each on the London Stock Exchange, as part of its ongoing $500 million share buyback program. These treasury-held shares are intended for fulfilling employee share scheme obligations. The buyback represents the second phase of the program, initially announced in November 2023, with the current stage valued at approximately $250 million.
