Compass Group PLC has recently reported the buyback of 71,320 of its own shares as part of a larger $500 million share repurchase plan, with these shares to be held in treasury for future employee share schemes. The transactions were executed through J.P. Morgan Securities plc at a volume weighted average price of £23.7589 per share. As a result of the buyback, Compass Group PLC’s total number of voting rights remains at 1,698,786,739 Ordinary Shares.
