Compass Group PLC has announced the purchase of 123,791 of its own ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange, part of a larger $500 million buyback program initiated in November 2023. These shares will be held in treasury to fulfill obligations from employee share schemes. After this transaction, the company’s total voting rights remain at 1,698,973,929 ordinary shares.
