Compass Group PLC has announced the purchase of 73,668 of its own ordinary shares as part of a $500 million share buyback program, with the latest transaction conducted through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. These shares will be held in treasury to fulfill employee share scheme obligations. Following this purchase, the company’s total number of shares in issue amounts to 1,699,097,720, with all shares purchased detailed in a recent stock exchange document.
