Compass Group PLC has repurchased 58,176 of its own shares as part of its $250 million share buyback program, with shares bought at a volume-weighted average price of £26.9304. This move is part of the company’s strategy to return capital to shareholders and manage share allocations for employee schemes. Following these transactions, Compass holds over 87 million shares in treasury, maintaining a substantial total of 1.7 billion shares in circulation.
