Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) has solidified its position in the leisure sector by acquiring 86.5% of Urban Group’s capital, a leading name in 5-a-side soccer and padel in France. The deal, valued at an enterprise level of 157 million euros for full capital, will see CDA pay 129.7 million euros for the majority stake, with a potential additional earn-out of 10 million euros. This strategic move expands CDA’s leisure offerings, aligning with its June 2021 strategy and emphasizing the company’s growth in complementary sports activities.
