Community Bank Elevates Durkee to Chief Accounting Officer

Community Bank System ( (CBU) ) has issued an update.

Community Financial System, Inc. has promoted Deresa F. Durkee to Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, a role in which she’ll oversee the accounting operations for the company and its subsidiaries. Bringing experience from her previous position at Oneida Financial Corp. and a CPA certification, Durkee is poised for potential incentive compensation and equity incentives in fiscal 2025, subject to performance and board approval. Additionally, her employment is safeguarded by a Change of Control Agreement, ensuring severance benefits under certain conditions post-termination, while also imposing non-solicitation constraints for a year thereafter.
