Commonwealth Bank Becomes Major Steadfast Group Shareholder

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (AU:CBA) has released an update.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has emerged as a substantial holder in Steadfast Group Ltd, amassing a total voting power of 5.14% across 56,900,590 fully paid ordinary shares. CBA’s significant interest stems from its voting power in associated companies Avanteos Investments Limited and Colonial First State Investments Limited, which exceeds 20%. The influence of the CBA and its related bodies is reflected in their ability to control voting and disposal of the securities, despite not being registered holders.
