Commerzbank ( (DE:CBK) ) has issued an update.

Commerzbank has announced that no price stabilisation actions were carried out in connection with the EUR 1 billion floating rate notes due February 2028 issued by KBC IFIMA S.A. under its Euro Medium Term Note Programme and guaranteed by KBC Bank NV. The clarification confirms that the notes, coordinated and placed by a syndicate including Commerzbank, BBVA, BNP Paribas, KBC Securities and NatWest Markets, traded without the need for post-issuance stabilisation measures, indicating sufficient market demand and orderly conditions for the issue.

The transaction involves a sizeable euro-denominated floating-rate instrument maturing in 2028, reinforcing KBC’s funding profile in the medium-term segment of the European bond market. By formally stating that no stabilisation occurred, Commerzbank provides transparency under EU market abuse rules, which may be viewed positively by investors and regulators as it suggests that pricing and secondary-market performance were supported by organic investor interest rather than intervention.
