An announcement from Arctic Fox Minerals Corp. ( (TSE:COMT) ) is now available.
Collective Metals Inc. has finalized plans for its inaugural drill program at the Rocas Uranium Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin, targeting shallow, high-grade basement-hosted uranium along a 7.5-kilometre magnetic low and EM conductive corridor that has never been drill tested. The fully funded Phase I campaign will include 1,200 to 1,500 metres of diamond drilling across six to eight holes, designed to test gravity-low anomalies and structurally controlled targets defined by 2024 geophysical surveys and a 2025 prospecting and mapping program that recorded radioactivity readings up to 33,000 counts per second.
The company has secured key vendors and expects drill crews to mobilize as early as mid-March, marking a significant operational milestone that could materially advance the geological understanding and potential resource profile of Rocas. By systematically testing coincident geophysical anomalies, historical surface uranium occurrences, and strong radioactivity zones near the Key Lake Mine and Mill, Collective is positioning itself to unlock new uranium discoveries in a highly prospective and infrastructure-accessible part of the Athabasca Basin.
