Arctic Fox Minerals Corp. ( (TSE:COMT) ) has issued an announcement.
Collective Metals Inc. has launched its inaugural drill program at the Rocas Uranium Project in the southeastern Athabasca Basin, with diamond drilling having started on March 16, 2026. The Phase I campaign will span five weeks and comprise 1,200 to 1,500 metres across six to eight shallow holes, designed to test high-priority targets less than 200 metres below surface.
The program will, for the first time, drill test a 7.5-kilometre electromagnetic corridor that hosts historical uranium surface mineralization and recent high-grade rare earth element results from 2025 prospecting. Using ground gravity and geophysical modelling, Collective aims to focus on major conductor trends and cross-cutting faults, positioning Rocas as a potentially significant shallow, high-grade uranium discovery in a key Canadian uranium district.
