Coles Group Limited is facing civil proceedings by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) over alleged misleading discount claims related to their ‘Down Down’ promotions. The ACCC contends that Coles raised prices on certain products before offering them at supposedly reduced rates, which were not genuine discounts.
