Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund (BRRR) has issued an update.
As of June 14, 2024, CoinShares Co. has taken over as the sole sponsor of the Trust following Valkyrie Digital Assets LLC’s departure, prompting leadership changes with Jared Demark stepping in as the new principal executive officer and Charles Butler as the principal financial and accounting officer, both bringing decades of financial industry experience. The Trust’s name has also been updated to “CoinShares Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund” to reflect these changes. CoinShares, the parent company, is a prominent European digital asset investment firm with a global presence and regulatory oversight in multiple jurisdictions.
