Cohen Circle Acquisition Corp. I announced on March 18, 2025, a business combination agreement with VEON Amsterdam B.V., VEON Holdings B.V., Kyivstar Group Ltd., and Varna Merger Sub Corp. On August 8, 2025, it was determined that 25.4% of the company’s Class A ordinary shares were redeemed for cash by shareholders. The business combination is expected to close around August 14, 2025, with approximately $178 million remaining in the Trust Account, pending shareholder approval and customary closing conditions.
