COFCO Joycome Signs Connected R&D Deal on Hog Breeding Technology

COFCO Joycome Foods Limited announced that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary Wuhan COFCO and its controlling shareholder COFCO have jointly entered into a technology development contract with Huazhong Agricultural University to conduct research and development in hog breeding. Under the three-year agreement running from April 2026 to April 2029, the parties will share intellectual property rights to the project’s results, with a total service fee of RMB60 million set by arm’s length negotiation.
