Cobram Estate Olives Finalises California Olive Ranch Acquisition on Improved Terms

Cobram Estate Olives Ltd. ( (AU:CBO) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Cobram Estate Olives Limited has completed its acquisition of California Olive Ranch, Inc., a major U.S. olive oil producer and marketer, effective 26 March 2026. The deal includes COR’s vertically integrated operations in California and the California Olive Ranch brand, the top Californian-produced extra virgin olive oil in U.S. supermarkets, creating a strong growth platform and synergies for Cobram in the U.S. market.

COR brings 1,870 hectares of company-owned and leased groves plus about 2,500 hectares of contracted third-party groves, supported by a large-scale milling, storage, bottling and warehousing facility in Artois, California. Cobram also benefited from favourable AUD/USD movements, locking in a 0.7085 exchange rate that reduced the upfront cash settlement by A$7.1 million, improving the financial terms of the transaction for shareholders.
