An announcement from Cobalt Blue Holdings ( (AU:COB) ) is now available.
Cobalt Blue Holdings has entered a consortium with U.S.-focused Glomar Minerals to develop Project Infinity, a proposed polymetallic nodule processing facility in the U.S. combining Glomar’s offshore extraction licences with Cobalt Blue’s patented hydrometallurgical technology.
The partners plan feasibility and pilot work, centred on Cobalt Blue’s Broken Hill Technology Centre, for a roughly 200,000 tpa plant to supply cobalt, manganese, nickel, copper, titanium and other critical minerals to U.S. advanced manufacturing and defence sectors.
The deal advances U.S.-Australia critical minerals cooperation, positions Cobalt Blue as a preferred U.S.-aligned processing technology partner, and showcases the scalability of its flowsheet across multi‑metal feedstocks.
Cobalt Blue expects the program to expand utilisation of its R&D hub, create near-term revenue from testwork and engineering services, and place the company at the forefront of an emerging polymetallic nodule industry, pending funding and binding project agreements.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:COB) stock is a Hold with a A$0.07 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Cobalt Blue Holdings stock, see the AU:COB Stock Forecast page.
