CMC Metals Ltd. has recently increased its stake in North Bay Resources Inc. to 16.05% by acquiring 1.12 billion shares, following a deal involving CMC’s gold processing mill. North Bay Resources is making strides towards reopening the Bishop mill facility and has acquired the Mount Vernon Mine, which is expected to provide ore for the mill and enable a planned initial production rate.
