Clara Resources Australia Limited has successfully completed the acquisition of Renison Coal Pty Ltd, making it the sole owner of the Ashford Coking Coal Project. Funded by the sale of Clara’s stake in First Tin plc for approximately A$4.3 million, the company is now poised to capitalize on strong market conditions for coking coal. The acquisition promises to enhance project management flexibility and economic viability, backed by positive forecasts for steel demand and coking coal prices.
