Aus Tin Mining Limited ( (AU:C7A) ) has issued an update.
Clara Resources has completed a 39 km² high-resolution airborne LiDAR survey over the Kingsborough Fault corridor at its Mareeba Gold Project in Far North Queensland, refining existing targets and highlighting the structural setting of known mineralisation. The work has identified four documented historical workings, including two on the corridor, and three previously unrecorded early-stage targets interpreted as possible historical gold workings, which will now be followed up with low-impact ground exploration ahead of a planned drill program along the corridor.
The Kingsborough Fault corridor, last systematically explored by Western Mining Corporation in the 1980s, is the principal structural target at Mareeba and sits within a broader goldfield that has produced about 300,000 ounces of gold. By mapping historical and unrecorded workings at scale, Clara aims to better understand the controls on mineralisation, prioritise targets more confidently, and design a focused drilling campaign that could enhance the project’s potential and support its position in a historically significant gold-producing region.
