Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group ( (HK:0256) ) has shared an announcement.
Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group has revised the timetable for its previously announced rights issue to align the share registration period for entitlement to the rights with the closure period for determining eligibility to attend and vote at its annual general meeting. The register of members will now be closed from 22 May to 29 May 2026 for rights entitlement, shifting key dates for cum-rights and ex-rights trading, record date, prospectus despatch, nil-paid rights trading, subscription deadlines and the placing period for unsubscribed rights shares, which clarifies the process and schedule for existing shareholders participating in the capital raise.
Under the updated schedule, the last day of cum-rights trading is set for 19 May 2026 and ex-rights trading will begin on 20 May 2026, with 29 May 2026 designated as the record date for the rights issue. Subsequent dates for dealing in nil-paid rights, acceptance and payment for rights shares, and the placing of unsubscribed and non-qualifying shareholders’ unsold rights shares now extend into early July 2026, giving investors a clearer timeline to manage their entitlements and funding decisions.
