City Holding Company has announced the appointment of retired Major General James A. Hoyer to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Hoyer joins as a Class II director and will be up for election at the 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. His compensation aligns with the standard for non-employee directors, with no special arrangements. Hoyer is also joining the board of City National Bank of West Virginia, reinforcing the company’s leadership team.
