CITIC Appoints New Independent Director

CITIC (HK:0267) has released an update.

CITIC Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Chen Yuyu as an Independent Non-executive Director and a member of the Strategic Committee, effective from 29 August 2024. Mr. Chen brings a wealth of experience, having held various academic and directorial positions, and his appointment ensures CITIC’s compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing requirements. His director’s fee is set at HK$380,000 per annum, aligning with the remuneration of other Independent Non-executive Directors at CITIC.
