An update from Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. ( (TSE:CTTT) ) is now available.
Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Canadian defence technology firm Juno Industries to co‑develop and commercialise an Arctic‑ready version of its Nexus platform, branded the Polar Nexus. The partners will establish a British Columbia facility for integration and extreme‑environment testing, with CiTech contributing a Nexus unit and engineering support and Juno providing $450,000 to build new IP around Arctic readiness, sensor integration, and scaled deployment.
The Polar Nexus is aimed at defence and industrial customers that require communications, monitoring, and surveillance in remote northern regions, tapping growing demand for Arctic defence and infrastructure as strategic activity increases in the far north. The collaboration is expected to strengthen CiTech’s foothold in North American defence and industrial markets by pairing its autonomous platform technology with Juno’s focus on Arctic threat detection and deep engagement with the Canadian Armed Forces and their allies.
