Cingulate Inc ( (CING) ) has shared an update.

On March 27, 2026, Cingulate Inc. appointed Zhanpeng “Frederick” Jiang to its Board of Directors as a Class I director, with a term running until the 2028 annual stockholders’ meeting, subject to standard conditions. The appointment followed stockholder approval tied to a prior securities purchase agreement and expanded the Class I slate to include Peter Werth, Jeff Hargroves and Jiang.

Jiang was simultaneously named to the Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees, each of which now includes him among a broadened roster of directors and is chaired by existing board members. The Board determined he qualifies as an independent director under Nasdaq rules, and under Cingulate’s director pay program he received a 15,000-share stock option vesting over one year plus annual cash retainers for his Board and committee service, reinforcing conventional governance and compensation alignment for stakeholders.

The most recent analyst rating on (CING) stock is a Hold with a $6.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Cingulate Inc stock, see the CING Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on CING Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CING is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, widening losses, and sustained cash burn), indicating high financing dependence. Technicals provide partial support via longer-term trend strength and neutral/oversold momentum signals, while valuation is constrained by a negative P/E. Corporate financing events add liquidity flexibility but increase dilution risk.
