China International Marine Containers Group has announced a progression in their plans to expand capital through the introduction of a strategic investor, the Future Industry Investment Fund, which will contribute approximately RMB1,000 million for a 15% stake in CIMC Offshore. This move is not expected to significantly impact the financial position or operating results of the group. The Fund has also expressed an intention to transfer this equity interest to a third party, with conditions that include a shortfall compensation agreement with the company and its subsidiary, CIMC HK.
