China Uptown Group Co. Ltd. has announced the completion of their Rights Issue and Placing, despite not being able to place any shares at the intended price of HK$0.15 per share. The Rights Issue saw a low uptake with only about 1.8% of the available shares being subscribed. The company plans to use the HK$0.56 million net proceeds for professional fees and general working capital.
