China Tower Corporation Limited, a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure and digital services in China, has reported its interim financial results for the first half of 2025, showcasing steady growth across its various business segments. The company operates primarily in the telecommunications sector, focusing on tower infrastructure, smart tower solutions, and energy services.

In the first half of 2025, China Tower Corporation achieved an operating revenue of RMB49,601 million, marking a 2.8% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s profitability also improved, with EBITDA rising by 3.6% to RMB34,227 million and net profit attributable to shareholders increasing by 8.0% to RMB5,757 million.

Key highlights from the earnings report include a steady performance in the Tower business, which generated RMB37,797 million in revenue, and significant growth in the Smart Tower and Energy businesses, which saw revenue increases of 18.7% and 9.2%, respectively. The company’s strategic focus on expanding its digital infrastructure and energy solutions has contributed to its diversified revenue streams.

Despite a decrease in net cash generated from operating activities, China Tower maintained a healthy financial position with total assets of RMB331,127 million and a gearing ratio of 29.5%. The company continues to prioritize shareholder returns, declaring an interim dividend of RMB0.13250 per share.

Looking ahead, China Tower Corporation aims to enhance its core competitiveness through its ‘One Core and Two Wings’ strategy, focusing on expanding 5G network coverage, advancing smart tower applications, and optimizing its energy business to support China’s national digital and environmental goals.
