China Tianrui to Raise Capital via Discounted Share Placing

China Tianrui Automotive Interiors Co., Ltd. ( (HK:6162) ) has provided an update.

China Tianrui Automotive Interiors has entered into a placing agreement to issue up to 400 million new shares under its existing general mandate, representing about 20% of its current issued share capital. The shares will be placed to at least six independent investors at HK$0.138 each, a discount to recent market prices, with the placing agent acting on a best-effort basis.

Following completion, the new shares would account for roughly 16.67% of the enlarged share capital, implying a notable equity dilution for existing shareholders in exchange for fresh capital. Directors say the terms, including a 0.5% placing commission, are in line with current market conditions, suggesting the move aims to strengthen the company’s financial position and support ongoing operations or future business development.
