China Telecom Corporation Limited has announced a proposed change of auditors, recommending KPMG and KPMG Huazhen LLP for the fiscal year ending in December 2024, subject to shareholder approval at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting. The current auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers and its affiliate, have confirmed there are no issues related to the change that need to be addressed with shareholders. Details of the auditor appointments will be outlined in a forthcoming circular to be sent to company shareholders.
