China Taiping Insurance Holdings Co. has announced the merger of its nomination and remuneration committees into a single entity, now known as the nomination and remuneration committee, in line with a recent board resolution. The new committee, primarily comprised of independent non-executive directors, will meet at least annually and is tasked with reviewing and recommending changes to the board’s structure and composition to align with corporate strategy. Furthermore, the committee is empowered to seek information from employees and obtain external professional advice as needed.
