China Star Entertainment ( (HK:0326) ) has provided an update.
China Star Entertainment has warned that it expects to post a loss attributable to shareholders of between HK$400 million and HK$480 million for the year ended 31 December 2025, widening from a loss of about HK$351.9 million a year earlier. The company said the deterioration is mainly due to a sharp increase in the write-down of its Macau property stock to roughly HK$308 million amid falling property prices in the territory, and urged shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its shares ahead of the final results due at the end of March 2026.
The latest profit warning underscores the pressure that declining Macau property values are placing on China Star Entertainment’s balance sheet and earnings, highlighting ongoing valuation risks in its property portfolio. The expected larger loss may weigh on investor sentiment and could influence the company’s strategic options in managing its real estate exposures and overall financial position as market conditions in Macau remain weak.
The most recent analyst rating on (HK:0326) stock is a Hold with a HK$5.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on China Star Entertainment stock, see the HK:0326 Stock Forecast page.
