China Southern Reports Strong Traffic Growth

China Southern Airlines Company Limited reported a significant increase in passenger and cargo traffic for May 2024, with passenger capacity rising by 11.64% year-on-year and cargo capacity up by 10.96%. Passenger load factor grew by 7.80 percentage points, driven by substantial growth on regional and international routes. The airline did not add new major routes but adjusted its fleet by introducing four new aircraft and retiring five older models.
