China Shenhua Energy Elects New Directors

China Shenhua Energy Co (HK:1088) has released an update.

China Shenhua Energy Co. has announced the election of Ms. Jiao Lei as an employee director, alongside other key directorial and supervisory appointments, as part of the formation of the company’s sixth session of the Board and Supervisory Committee. Ms. Jiao, who has a rich background in finance and management, including a stint at the Agricultural Bank of China, will serve on a three-year term subject to shareholder approval of her remuneration. Her appointment and the new composition of the Board reflect the company’s adherence to corporate governance laws and regulations in China.
