China Shenhua Energy Co’s Huizhou Phase II Begins Operations

China Shenhua Energy Co (HK:1088) has released an update.

China Shenhua Energy Co has announced that their Huizhou Phase II power project has successfully completed a 168-hour trial and commenced commercial operations. This expansion, with a total installed capacity of 1,000 MW, aims to alleviate power and heat supply pressures in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The full operation is also expected to bolster energy security and drive socio-economic growth in the Pearl River Delta region.
