China Shenhua Energy Co has announced the appointment of Mr. Lv Zhiren as the new Chairman of the Board and Mr. Tang Chaoxiong as the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, both with immediate effect. Their terms will last until the expiry of the current sessions, and both are eligible for re-appointment. The remuneration packages for the new chairmen are to be determined by the company’s shareholders, based on the recommendations of the Remuneration and Assessment Committee.
