China Shenhua Energy Company Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Lv Zhiren as the new chairman of the board for a three-year term, following resolutions passed at the first meeting of the company’s sixth session of the board. The meeting, which followed proper legal and regulatory protocols, also included the election of Wang Hong as chairman of the Nomination Committee with members Chen Hanwen and Lv Zhiren. These strategic leadership decisions are aimed at steering the company forward and were unanimously approved by the board members.
