China Sci-Tech Industrial Investment Group Limited, formerly known as Core Economy Investment Group Limited, is proposing a rights issue to raise approximately HK$10.08 million. The rights issue will offer one rights share for every two shares held, with the aim of issuing up to 144,000,000 rights shares. The proceeds, estimated to net around HK$9.5 million after expenses, will be used for purposes detailed in the company’s announcement. The rights issue will proceed on a non-underwritten basis, and arrangements have been made to place any unsubscribed shares to independent placees. The rights issue complies with the relevant listing rules and does not require shareholders’ approval.
