China Power Reports Soaring Electricity Sales

China Power International Development (HK:2380) has released an update.

China Power International Development Limited reported a robust increase in electricity sales for the first half of 2024, with an overall jump of 33.33% compared to the previous year. The total electricity sold in June 2024 alone surged by 36.20% from the same month last year, driven by significant growth in hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaic power, despite a slight decline in coal-fired power sales.
