China Power International Development ( (HK:2380) ) has issued an announcement.

China Power International Development plans to propose a final dividend of RMB0.168 per share for the 2025 financial year, equivalent to HK$0.1911, subject to shareholder approval at its annual general meeting on 4 June 2026. The company will close its register of members at specified periods in late May and June to determine eligibility to attend and vote at the AGM and to qualify for the dividend, which is expected to be paid in Hong Kong dollars on 30 June 2026 to shareholders on record as of 12 June 2026.

The company also outlined tax treatment for the payout, confirming that a 10% PRC enterprise income tax will be withheld from the 2025 final dividend for non-resident enterprise shareholders, while natural person shareholders on the register will receive the dividend without such withholding. As China Power has been classified as a PRC tax resident enterprise by the State Taxation Administration, its PRC subsidiaries are not required to accrue withholding tax on dividends remitted to the listed company, clarifying post-tax returns and compliance obligations for different classes of investors.
