China Nonferrous Mining Sees Profit Boost Amid Mixed Output

China Nonferrous Mining Corp. Ltd. (HK:1258) has released an update.

China Nonferrous Mining Corp. Ltd. reported a 23% increase in profits to approximately $314 million for the first nine months of 2024, driven by higher global copper prices. Despite a 13% drop in copper cathode production to 95,939 tonnes, production of other products like sulphuric acid and liquid sulphur dioxide saw significant increases. The company faced challenges in copper anodes production due to changes in mining service providers and resource exhaustion at certain mines.
