China National Building Material Co ( (HK:3323) ) just unveiled an update.
China National Building Material said it expects to narrow its unaudited loss attributable to equity holders to about RMB170 million for the first quarter of 2026, from a loss of roughly RMB517 million a year earlier. The improvement is mainly driven by higher selling prices and lower costs for glass fiber products, stronger sales of electronic fabrics and lithium battery separators, increased gains from fair-value changes in financial assets, and higher profit contributions from associates, partially offset by weaker cement sales volumes.
The company stressed that the figures are based on preliminary unaudited PRC GAAP data and that actual first-quarter 2026 results may differ when formally reported later in April. Management also cautioned shareholders and potential investors to exercise care when trading the shares, underscoring the lingering uncertainty around performance despite a significantly reduced quarterly loss profile.
The most recent analyst rating on (HK:3323) stock is a Buy with a HK$5.90 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on China National Building Material Co stock, see the HK:3323 Stock Forecast page.
