China Gold International Resources has announced the resignation of Mr. Junhu Tong as Chairman, Executive Director, and CEO, effective from August 2, 2024, in line with the company’s retirement policies. Mr. Tong expressed his gratitude for his time with the company, indicating no disagreement with the Board nor issues requiring shareholder attention. Vice President of the controlling shareholder, Mr. Shiliang Guan, with over 30 years of mining experience, will temporarily oversee operations until a new Chairman and CEO are appointed.
