China Everbright Water Limited has announced it will pay interest on its 2024 first tranche medium-term notes, which have a principal amount of RMB1.5 billion and were issued to institutional investors in China’s national inter-bank bond market in early January 2024. The interest, calculated at an annual simple rate of 2.80% for the period from 8 January 2025 to 7 January 2026, will be paid on 8 January 2026 (or the next working day if that date is a statutory holiday in the Chinese Mainland), underscoring the company’s adherence to its debt obligations and providing clarity and predictability for bondholders and institutional investors.
