China Everbright Water ( (SG:U9E) ) just unveiled an update.
China Everbright Water Limited has announced the payment of interest on its 2023 first tranche medium term notes, which have a principal amount of RMB1 billion and were issued to institutional investors in the Chinese Mainland’s national inter-bank bond market. The notes, known as 23 MTN001, form part of the company’s financing structure and reflect its continued access to domestic debt capital.
The company will pay simple interest at an annual rate of 3.20% for the period from 17 April 2025 to 16 April 2026, with payment scheduled for 17 April 2026 or the next working day if that date falls on a public holiday in the Chinese Mainland. This interest payment, together with previously announced resale arrangements, signals orderly management of its bond obligations and should provide clarity and predictability for noteholders and other stakeholders regarding its near-term funding commitments.
