China Eastern Airlines Posts Interim Financials

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited Class H (HK:0670) has released an update.

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited has reported its interim financial results for the first half of 2024, with revenue up to RMB 64,199 million from RMB 49,511 million in the previous year. Despite increased revenue, the company faced a net loss of RMB 3,099 million, an improvement from last year’s RMB 6,584 million loss. The results, which are not indicative of full-year performance, reflect higher operating expenses including fuel costs and depreciation, but also a reduction in loss per share.
