China Coal Energy Co. has announced an updated special dividend of RMB 0.113 per share, to be paid at the rate of HKD 0.12385 per share based on the exchange rate of RMB 1 to HKD 1.09598. Shareholders must register by July 5, 2024, to be eligible for the dividend, which will be distributed on August 26, 2024. A 10% withholding tax will apply to non-resident enterprise and individual shareholders, with specific tax treatments for shareholders through the Shanghai and Shenzhen Hong Kong Stock Connects.
