China Bohai Bank Co., Ltd. has successfully issued RMB11 billion worth of ‘2024 Undated Capital Bonds’ to support its additional tier 1 capital. These bonds, with a starting coupon rate of 2.38% for the first five years, will see their interest rates adjusted every five years. The issuance was completed on September 19, 2024, and the bonds began accruing interest from the same date.
