China Aerospace International Posts Mid-Year Loss

China Aerospace International Holdings Limited (HK:0031) has released an update.

China Aerospace International Holdings Limited reported a swing to a loss for the first half of 2024, with unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements showing a loss of HK$59,093,000 compared to a profit of HK$55,065,000 in the same period last year. The company attributes the loss to various factors, including increased cost of sales, a significant fair value change of investment properties, and higher research and development expenses. Basic and diluted loss per share stood at HK0.93 cents, down from an earnings per share of HK1.48 cents in the first half of 2023.
